What is online betting?
Online betting
is the prediction of sport matches
and placing bets on them.
In our country, Iran, betting is illegal
and, from a religious point of view, frowned upon,
or what we call haram.
Nevertheless there are many websites
dedicated to this activity.
In this video
I’ll tell you why you would always
come out of these websites as losers.
So stay with me.
Imagine you place a bet on a game
and double your money.
Will this be your happy-ending?
Absolutely not.
You will be tempted to win more money
and bet again.
Imagine you double your money again.
Now you have quadrupled your money in total.
But are you done?
No
you’ve just got a taste of it
and think you’ll always win.
Why?
Because you think
you have betting all figured out.
What will happen then?
By and by you will place larger bets
and not caring about
large amounts of money you are putting down
and you will place bets
until you lose all your money.
Best case scenario,
you stop here,
most of the times this is not the case.
And for redeeming the money you’ve lost
you will place larger and larger bets
until you lose even more money.
You realize what you’ve done
only when your bank account’s total
has plummeted to zero
and you are nervous.
Placing bets on sport matches
might be justifiable.
But playing with a robot
is not rational at all.
You can never beat a robot.
I know people who have lost all their possessions
due to betting and gambling.
Imagine working for 20 years
and lose everything
just because you wanted to
become a millionaire overnight.
In this game
there is no other way than to lose money.
But whenever you decided to get out
you have won
because you would restrain yourself
from losing more.
Whoever thinks he can win in this lose-lose game
will one day lose more than everybody.
There are no safe bets in the world.

و از دیدگاه مذهبیان ناپسند شمرده میشه
یا حرام نامیده میشه.
با این حال سایتای زیادی هستن
که به این کار اختصاص داده شدن.
تو این ویدئو

تو این سایت‌ها میبازی.
پس بامن همراه باش.
فرض کن سر یه بازی شرط میبندی
و پولت رو دو برابر میکنی.
این پایان شاد تو خواهد بود؟
قطعا نه.
وسوسه میشی که پول بیشتری برنده شی
و دوباره شرط ببندی.
فرض کن دوباره پولت رو دو برابر کردی.
حالا در مجموع پولت رو چهار برابر کردی.
ولی میگی دیگه کافیه؟
نه
تازه طعمش رو چشیدی
و فکر میکنی که همش میبری.
چرا؟
چون فکر میکنی
کلا از شرطبندی سر در میاری.
بعدش چی میشه؟
کم کم شرطای سنگین‌تری میبندی
و بدون توجه به
مقدار زیاد پولی که داری میذاری
و اونقدری شرطبندی میکنی
که تموم پولتو ببازی.
در بهترین حالت
همینجا این کار رو متوقف میکنی
بیشتر اوقات این اتفاق نمیوفته.
و برای پس گرفتن پولی که باختی
شرطای بزرگ‌تر و بزرگ‌تری میبندی
تا جایی که حتی پول بیشتری میبازی.
فقط وقتی میفهمی که چیکار کردی
که موجودی حساب بانکیت
برسه به صفر
و تو مضطرب بشی.
شرط بستن سر بازیای ورزشی
میتونه قابل توجیه باشه.
ولی بازی با روبات‌ها
اصلا معقول نیست.
تو هیچ وقت نمیتونی یه روباتو ببری.
آدمایی رو میشناسم که کل داراییشون رو
سر شرطبندی و قمار باختن.
فرض کن ۲۰ سال کار کنی
و همه چیز رو از دست بدی
فقط بخاطر اینکه میخواستی
یه شبه میلیونر بشی.
تو این بازی
هیچ راهی جز از دست دادن پول وجود نداره.
ولی هروقت که تصمیم گرفتی بیای بیرون
بردی
چون جلوی خودت رو گرفتی که
بیشتر از این نبازی.
هرکی فکر میکنه میتونه تو این بازی دو سر باخت ببره
یه روز بیشتر از هرکس دیگه‌ای پولشو میبازه.
چیزی تحت عنوان شرطبندی امن تو دنیا وجود نداره.
اگه تو این سایت‌ها مشارکت میکنی
هرچه زودتر خودت رو بکش بیرون.
اگه قبلا شرطبندی کردی
