Tree of life (درخت زندگی)

Amazing Fact: Orinoco Delta is a vast fan shaped delta located in eastern Venezuela, where the Orinoco River meets the sea.

Tired and hungry, they were on the verge of tears when they heard a gentle whisper. They looked up to see a Moriche palm tree, waving in the wind. The palm offered the children its fruit. With food in their stomach, the children gained strength to look around. The Moriche palm introduced them to other members of the forest and soon the children had many friends. They learnt to use wood to build houses and leaves for roofs. They found places to find food and water, herbs for medicine and even ways to dress up and decorate themselves.

Many years later, a group of adventures canoeing down the river were surprised to see a small settlement on a forested island deep in the jungles. The children had learnt the ways of the forest and were now living comfortably amidst the labyrinth of waterways. The Moriche palm came to be known as the ‘tree of life’ and the children grew up to be the Warao Indians also known as ‘canoe people’.

The magic-filled forest lit up around the girl as she walked down the path. The air was filled with the humming and whizzing of fairies, spirits, and other mythical creatures flying about. The girl, while still human, had long silvery hair tinged with blue and the petite features of a woodland elf. A blooming white lotus flower rested in the palms of her hands as she carried it down the path.

Her destination, the lake at the center of the forest, shimmered a deep, mesmerizing blue. Flower covered lily pads floated on top where many fairies would take the time to rest. As the path stopped and dirt turned into rich green grass, the spirits took notice of the human in their forest. Humans normally aren’t allowed where the mystical energies claim, for the spirits' fear of their destructive nature, but the girl was an exception to this rule. Her blood may have been human, but her soul belonged among the fae. She fought to keep her spirit home safe, no matter how young. The trees could read her soul, and they only found love and light, and therefore the forest accepted her as one of their own. As of then, her time in the forest was of great importance.

The girl lowered to her knees before the lake and the life in the forest paused, waiting for the girl’s next action. Her hands lowered to the water, letting the lotus flower move from her hands and into the lake. The flower drifted away, settling in the center where light shone from within. Light grew from the flower and the water changed, waves being created to surround the flower as it grew and grew.

As the flower reached its maximum size, the girl stood to face whatever would come from the flower. When the lotus flower first appeared on the girl’s windowsill, she knew that she would come to the forest to deliver, no matter the fact that it was the middle of the night.

With the aid of the spirits, they made sure that as she stepped onto the petal reaching for her, that she would not fall.

She would scare off humans with threats of danger and make sure that the borders grew secure.

The forest was dark and damp, the sky was black as ink and the trees swayed in the breeze. Lost in the forest I was, no idea how to get out.

It was 12 o’clock on a Monday. I left for Amelia’s house, my best friend. We were having the time of our lives when a silly idea of Amelia’s popped up. She had decided for us to take an adventure in the gloomy forest where there is no sun to shine through the forest. Amelia took my hand and headed to the forest. Our journey began. Amelia and I were walking fast trying to explore, and we had no idea where we were.

Lost in the forest we were, we roamed around worrying. I knew this wasn’t a good idea. We strolled around the forest again but little did we know we were going round in circles until Amelia mentioned that she saw a house that seemed disturbing and haunted every single time.

We both went in; I opened the rigid door and inside the house was grubby. It had hoary furniture and a staircase that seemed like it would collapse in any minute.

Amelia and I both laid on the old fashioned, dusty bed. After ten elongated minutes had passed, we both decided to leave the haunted house and go back into the forest. As we took a step, noises came out of nowhere, creepy and eerie noises and then BANG! The door slammed shut! The roof started collapsing and the windows started breaking, millions of shattered pieces of glass were on the floor! We were trapped in the haunted house in the middle of the forest, alone, stranded, no one with us.

So we climbed out of the shattered window carefully and slowly, trying not to get hurt by the glass that was pointing towards us. We made it out of the haunted house, I was so glad but we still had to get out of the murky forest.

The Dark Forest (جنگل تاریک)

Once upon a time, there was a village which was surrounded by thick forest and very few people lived there. In that village there was a small hut where a family with women and two beautiful girls named Tabby and Molly lived. They were very naughty and never used to listen to their mother and troubled her. In-spite of repeated warnings they always used to do nasty things and their elders used to always teach them about being good to all and not to trouble anyone else they would get into trouble if they continue doing so.

One-day Tabby and Molly insisted on going into the dark forest for which their mother warned that they should not think of going into the forest because there are some dangerous and ferocious animals and if somebody tried to enter the forest, he surely would not come out alive. Everyone in the village was afraid and they never came out of their houses/huts after getting dark. The people in the village were also trying to capture a lion and kill him, which they thought had killed some people who had entered into the forest.“You are too small to enter the forest”, said their mother. The children became sad. In-spite of the warning; children did not listen to what their mother said. They decided to go to the forest alone. In the morning the children silently went out.

When they entered the forest, they lost their way back home. While they were walking they were fascinated by seeing beautiful birds, clever vixens, small cute rabbits hopping around, creepy squirrels eating the nuts and many animals. They didn’t realize that they had reached so far till they were tired and hungry. They sat under the tree and ate some berries. Soon they fell asleep and by the time it was dark. The next morning the same ferocious lion, which their mother was talking about, was strolling and looking for his prey. As he saw the two children sleeping, lion roared. Both the children awoke and got frightened but as Lion looked at them he took pity on them and carried them on his back. When he reached the den lioness was sitting there with her cubs, she was very excited and wanted to have a delicious meal. When she was about to pounce on them, the lion said,” please stay away from the children, dear. They are not our enemies but are innocent children. Don’t be cruel like humans who kill us without any reason. We should treat them as we treat our children.” Both lion and lioness pacified them as both the children were crying and carried them home safely.

Well…a week ago some people came into this jungle with their friends and they got lost, their names were Pilscue, Bruce, Ricey & lucid. Pilscue, when they got lost, was very worried and decided to not lose hope and face every problem that comes his way. On the other hand Bruce was not scared at all because he used to watch some survival series which he thought would help him in surviving in this mysterious jungle.

خب… یک هفته پیش چند نفر با دوستانشان به این جنگل آمدند و گم شدند، نام‌هایشان پیلسکیو، بروس، رایس و لوسید بود. وقتی گم شدند، پیلسکیو بسیار نگران شد و تصمیم گرفت امید خود را از دست ندهد و با هر مشکلی که برایش پیش می‌آید روبرو شود. از طرف دیگر، بروس اصلا نمی‌ترسید، زیرا او قبلا سریال‌های بقا را تماشا می‌کرد که فکر می‌کرد به او در زنده ماندن در این جنگل مرموز کمک می‌کند.

But after some time as the sun was coming down he realized that this was not going to be easy as he thought it would be but he still kept on trying and after 7-8 attempts he was able to make a hammock on which he could sleep. Ricey and lucid still had no trace. As the night passed the next morning Pilscue woke up next to Bruce and he had no idea how this happened and he was astonished to see Bruce and happy as well.

اما پس از مدتی که خورشید در حال غروب بود، متوجه شد که این کار آنطور که فکر می‌کرد آسان نخواهد بود، اما همچنان به تلاش خود ادامه داد و پس از 7-8 بار تلاش توانست یک ننو (تخت آویز) بسازد که بتواند روی آن بخوابد. همچنان اثری از رایس و لوسید نبود. با گذشت شب، صبح روز بعد، پیلسکیو در کنار بروس از خواب بیدار شد و اصلا نمی‌دانست چگونه این اتفاق افتاده است و از دیدن بروس شگفت‌زده و خوشحال شد.

Pilscue said “HEY!! Bruce, WAKE UP!!! Look! I found you” and then Bruce woke up rubbing his eyes, he said “WHAT,WHEN, HOW?!! Did you find me ?”

پیلسکیو گفت: «هی!! بروس، بیدار شو!!! نگاه کن پیدات کردم» و سپس بروس با مالیدن چشمانش از خواب بیدار شد، گفت: «چه، چه زمانی، چگونه؟!! تو من را پیدا کردی؟»

Replied Pilscue “ I don’t know i just woke up today and i realized that i was beside you”

پیلسکیو پاسخ داد: «نمی‌دانم امروز از خواب بیدار شدم و فهمیدم که در کنارت هستم.»

“strange it was huh?” Asked Bruce “yes” replied Pilscue. After their chat they got hungry and started looking for fruit or if there was something to eat in their lunch boxes, luckily they had some sandwiches and they ate it all. After they had their food they started asking each other about Ricey and Lucid and they both did not know where they were. So they decided to search for them in the mysterious jungle so they started walking.

بروس پرسید: «عجیب بود نه؟» پیلسکیو پاسخ داد: «آره». آن‌ها بعد از صحبت کردنشان گرسنه شدند و شروع به جستجوی میوه کردند یا آیا در جعبه‌های ناهارشان چیزی برای خوردن وجود دارد یا نه. خوشبختانه آن‌ها چند ساندویچ داشتند و همه آن‌ها را خوردند. بعد از خوردن غذا، شروع به پرسیدن از همدیگر در مورد رایس و لوسید کردند و هر دوی آن‌ها نمی‌دانستند کجا هستند. بنابراین تصمیم گرفتند در جنگل مرموز به دنبال آن‌ها بگردند، پس شروع به راه رفتن کردند.

After walking for about 1-2 hours they realized that they reached the same place from where they started. They both were scared and said that this was not a good place to come for a picnic. So they were helpless now and sat down… after some time they heard a noise behind the bushes so they were curious and decided to investigate what was the noise all about and when they went there they found that Ricey and Lucid were munching on the sandwiches that were left which they were supposed to eat for the dinner. Pilscue shouted” WE FOUND THEM!!!!!”

بعد از حدود 1-2 ساعت پیاده روی متوجه شدند که به همان جایی که شروع کرده بودند، رسیده‌اند. هر دو ترسیده بودند و گفتند اینجا جای خوبی برای پیک نیک نیست. بنابراین آن‌ها اکنون درمانده بودند و نشستند ... بعد از مدتی صدایی از پشت بوته‌ها شنیدند بنابراین کنجکاو شدند و تصمیم گرفتند بررسی کنند که سر و صدای چیست و وقتی به آنجا رفتند متوجه شدند که رایس و لوسید در حال خوردن ساندویچ‌هایی هستند که باقی مانده بودند که قرار بود برای شام بخورند. پیلسکیو فریاد زد: «ما آن‌ها را پیدا کردیم!»

Ricey replied “No!, we found you” then Bruce said “ya whatever, it's the same thing”

رایس پاسخ داد «نه!، ما تو را پیدا کردیم.» سپس بروس گفت: «خب هر چی، این هم همان است.»

Then they again heard something from behind the bushes, Lucid asked “Is there someone left!!!” Everyone replied”NO!!!”

بعد دوباره صدایی از پشت بوته‌ها شنیدند، لوسید پرسید: «کسی جا مانده است؟» همه پاسخ دادند «نه!!!»

Then suddenly a lion jumped and came out and everyone started running in every direction. The lion got confused about who he should eat first so he targeted lucid the one who was slowest of all and when the lion was about to eat him , something happened.

سپس ناگهان شیری پرید و بیرون آمد و همه به هر طرف شروع به دویدن کردند. شیر در مورد این که چه کسی را اول باید بخورد گیج شد بنابراین کسی که کندتر از همه بود را هدف گرفت و وقتی شیر می‌خواست او را بخورد، اتفاقی افتاد.

Well a sound came “WAKE UP LUCID !, you are late for your school” and Noah woke up and said “ thankgod it was a dream” and after that he changed his clothes and went to school and told everyone about the dream!

خب صدایی آمد: "بیدار شو لوسید!،برای مدرسه‌ات دیر می‌کنی.» و نوح از خواب بیدار شد و گفت: «خدایا شکرت خواب بود.» و بعد از آن لباسش را عوض کرد و به مدرسه رفت و به همه درباره خواب گفت!
